It appears to me that some improvements could be made to the incentive system in place for the upcoming season to maximize its effectiveness. It is understandable if you are perplexed as to why this has occurred after discovering that this is the case. In this game, because of the fact that time is rewarded rather than skill, it is difficult to come out on top. Because I work more than 40 hours per week, I don't have a lot of free time to spend on my computer, which is why I prefer to play video games instead of reading books. For myself, it didn't really matter how many games I played to earn the platinum or diamond rewards at first because all I wanted was to earn the rewards, and because my skills are good enough, I was able to do so without having to put in 50 or more hours of play time. For those who have the hidden elo behind their neck, starting at the top of the rankings when the new season begins is especially straightforward.
The situation has, on the other hand, shifted dramatically in recent years....

People who are still in school or who are unemployed are no longer eligible for assistance; those who work more than 40 hours per week in order to maintain eligibility are no longer eligible for assistance.

I did, however, come to appreciate what I had said after much deliberation and consideration, which I had not done before. This has resulted in a temporary satisfaction level among participants with regard to the new season's incentive system for the time being. In order to take advantage of the season's incentive system, boosting is discouraged throughout the course of the campaign. This change will, in turn, make it more difficult for players who are in lower ranks of the rankings to receive boosts from boosters as a result of the change. Of course, there's the brand-new issue of deranking to take into consideration, on top of everything else that could arise in the future. This system also makes it much easier for Psyonix to track down and apprehend the perpetrators, which is a huge plus for the organization. It is inconvenient at first because the system has no way of knowing where you are in relation to the rest of the organization; as a result, it is inconvenient at first. In general, everything appears to be functioning properly, including the auto-ban chat, which appears to be functioning as intended as well.
