Rune is one of the top nonmem

I know there's a good reason why a lot of  OSRS GP players still use a rune-based platebodyas it comes with decent defense bonuses and relatively affordable costs. But what's the next step after rune with regard to nondegradable plates? I'm guessing it's the Bandos Plate, but that's far out of my budget.

Are there any other plates that can give more benefits than rune? What are the non-degradable bodies you utilize for training? What is the cost and do you think that the investment is worth the return?

Rune is one of the top nonmem , non-deg armour. The next best is Granite Body, legs, Sheild and the helm. This is mem, and require 50 str and 50 def to wield. However its one of the most heavy armors out there perhaps even the largest. This means that it drains your energy in a way that is insane. Also, it looks rlly awful, and the whole set is worth less than 500k and is used mostly by bots, or so I've heard.

Then there's the fighter the torso and various other items that you could get through minigames. It's Dragon armor, which needs 60 def. However, if u cant afford chain bod or plate bodthat costs 4.5M-5.5M and 9m-10m respectively and 9m-10m respectively, you can choose to use a rune body, which comes with drag legs and medium helm. Use granite body only with dragon legs, thats what bots wear. I have Zammy platesbody + Dragon Platelegs.. This is pretty awesome. The majority of the gears are deg. Barrows equipment can last up to 10 hrs of combat, before repairs.

For instance, at what stage for each kind of monster do I need to use the protection prayer as well as offensive prayer?
