The City is something that perhaps needs a bit more time to actually get going, but even now it's well worth investing some hours into. In case you held off on a purchase of NBA 2K21 whilst you waited to get an Xbox collection X|S version, then now's the opportunity to hit the courts -- it is well worth the purchase.

To access The City, players will first need to start up a MyCareer session and proceed through all the tutorial parts. After this has been completed players will eventually be able to get into the MyCareer menu and scroll down till they see the option to enter The City. Sadly, they cannot just drop right in at this time and will still need to put in a while. By selecting that choice though players will probably be taken to four outdoor basketball courts that they can play against other players on. To enter The City from here, players need to take part in matches until they can increase their MyRep level high enough until they can join an Affiliation. Affiliations require the player reach the Guru 1 rank, but  buy mt they will begin at the Rookie 1 position.
