The biggest disappointment with Madden 21 coins though is that the Franchise mode. Other than a couple of tweaks to how things such as offseason drafts and transactions are handled, it is literally equal to last year's Madden. Plus, the variation we get on Stadia is not even the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S version of the sport, it is the PlayStation 4 / Xbox One version. In other words, the new playcalling attributes, improved visuals, compact animations, and'Next-Gen Stats' integration features are absent.

The narrative mode this season, Face of the Franchise: Rise to Fame, is awful. Voice acting is poor across the board, character animations are stiff in cutscenes, and as things start to get interesting it less or more ends and dumps you into a merry-go-round of scripted moments during your career. The new mode, The Yard, attempts to become an arcade-style pick-up-and-play experience, but is so watered down it fails to deliver.

The reality of Madden is that if you are craving an NFL football experience then you do not really have any other options. Purchasing the game on Stadia could reveal EA there's interest in more of their sports titles coming into the stage, which is an overall great thing, it is just too poor Madden couldn't have a better entry to serve as its introduction. As is the standard now with the Stadia edition of AAA games, it performs wonderfully and does not have any noticeable issues with lag or latency if your link is great enough. Anytime you play Madden online kicking does suffer with minor latency issues, but that is the case across all variations of this game -- not just Stadia. This season it is worse than normal so you ought to absolutely expect to miss a few field objectives and extra points.

They need to have changed the internet code for how kicking is handled or something because even on PS4 and PS5 I had been having problems hitting kicks just right and these issues persist in the Stadia variant. Google recommends at 10Mbps download rate for 720p streaming, 20Mbps download speed for 1080p streaming, and  mut 21 coins buy at 35Mbps download rate for 4K streaming.
