We continue to introduce you to the game mechanics of LOST ARK, and this time, as promised, we have prepared a short story about the Lost Ark currency that exist in the game and a guide to the exchange, where you can exchange some currencies with other players.
Lost Ark Currencies
Many races live in Acrasia. You will get to know their history and way of life during your journey through the world of LOST ARK. The people that you will meet differ from each other not only in their traditions and appearance but also, of course, in the currency used.
Depository - a place where all game currencies and exchange items that you possess are collected. At the moment, 20 types of currency are available to players. Several can be displayed on the main interface to control their number constantly.
Four types of currency can be used on all continents of the Lost Ark world.
Silver is the most common currency in all of Acrasia, with which you can buy everything or almost everything. Silver cannot be transferred to other characters.
Gold is a universal coin minted in Bern and decorated with the image of the goddess Given, which is used to make deals with other players. Gold is shared across all Legacy, and even if you just created a character, they will be able to use this common currency.
Crystals are gems skillfully cut by Bernese jewelers in the image of precious star crystals. They are heirlooms that cannot be transferred to other players.
Rufenites are a special currency that can be exchanged for weapons or equipment from the priests of Rufeon.
The most valuable currency is Star Crystals, obtained by account replenishmentreal means. In the store, you can make basic purchases and purchase premium status, crystals, mounts, and much more.
One of the heirloom currencies distributed to all characters on the server is Lazenis Feathers, which have miraculous powers: they allow the character to be reborn at the place of death. You can get them for completing tasks, increasing reputation with NPCs, some achievements, and also purchase them in the game store.
Royal Orders are required to participate in certain PvE activities, such as the Tower of Shadows, Cube, or Platinum Fields. Orders are awarded daily in three pieces per Legacy after one of the characters reaches level 50.
Pirate doubloons are the sea currency and are used by sea merchants and pirates on some islands. You can get them for various activities at sea: fishing and its further sale, diving, lifting chests with valuables from the bottom, exploring the wrecks of sunken ships.
Above, we've only covered the most basic currencies that you'll use most often, but there are many more in LOST ARK - try to get them all!
Lost Ark Currency Exchange
LOST ARK has a special exchange where each player can sell crystals for Lost Ark Gold and vice versa. You can use this service from any corner of Acrasia when the character reaches level 10 by selecting the section of the same name in the store or with the help of special NPCs that can be found in major cities.
You can convert crystals into Gold without commission by making a deal to sell crystals on the exchange. The transaction value is calculated using the following formula: the number of ordinary crystals × 0.8. Remember that Star Crystals are automatically converted into regular crystals in the following ratio: 1 crystal is equal to 0.8 Star Crystal.
You can also purchase crystals with Gold. However, such transactions are subject to a 5% commission on crystals. Trade value formula: rate × (number of crystals / 100), the rate is the Gold you plan to exchange. The number of crystals you will purchase must be a multiple of 100.
The recommended rate is calculated considering the most profitable offers on the exchange at the moment. As a result, the estimated value of the transaction (rate) is not final - if there are more profitable offers on the exchange, less gold can be written off from you, but not more, and if you sell crystals, you will be able to get more Gold.
Once the transaction is completed, you will not cancel it or return the funds received. The transaction is completed within 36 hours, after which it will be automatically canceled, and the funds will be returned to your exchange account.
You can receive Gold, Bonuses, and Crystals credited to your exchange account following the completion of transactions in the "History of transactions" window. This section also contains information about current transactions and the latest actions on the exchange.
