With the "growing team and better tools", Jagex says it will not just be looking for sellers of gold or sources through RWT but also buyers RuneScape 2007 Gold. The idea is to curb the demand, as well as the supply.
Jagex promises to start sending "messages to players that we've identified who are involved on"RWT" within "the next few hours". "For anyone who has been involved, we want to be clear : this is your single or only warning" the company added.
Other measures the developer will think of as punishments for RWT activities are expected to include wealth removal , which essentially the removal of gains earned by players' accounts at the level of servers - as well as possible bans.
RuneScape's PvP component, dubbed"the Duel Arena, will also see stricter rules implemented. Jagex claims that the feature "has been a catalyst for this kind of toxic behavior" and that 38 per cent of all bans for RWT games to date come from that aspect which the players play. Jagex states that the number of bans already amount to "thousands of bans per month".
As a result, the developer seems to be taking the nucleus option, saying "we're thinking about the long-term for phasing out in the Duel Arena out of RuneScape completely." Until then it will introduce "some immediate actions" to Buy RuneScape Gold remove PvP "until our development teams are able to deliver major updates that fully substitutes for the Duel Arena next year."
