Studio Jagex, a game maker Jagex is perhaps best known for its massive Runescape game series. However, a lot of people may not be aware that the studio has been expanding its services to include publication industry, and even tabletop gaming.
Jagex recently announced that it had made a deal with indie designer Outlier Games to publish the company's first game, which is the spaceship management game This Means Warp. The game is set to release on PC through Steam Early Access on March 17.
Designed with multiplayer and replayability in mind, This Means Warp encourages players to collaborate and think strategically in fast-paced, real-time space battles. use savvy strategies as they guide their ship through the hostile, procedurally engineered universe.
Taking inspiration from roguelikes like FTL as well as party-games like Overcooked This Means Warp sees players control the crew on ships, controlling various platforms, directing weapons, conducting repairs, and ultimately tracking a path through the treacherous void of space.
