In Sony's most recent financial report, it was stated that games available for PS4 will cease to exist by 2025. However D2R Ladder Items, this doesn't mean that the old PS4 games won't be available for purchase. However, Sony will definitely be done with releasing new games on PS4 by the time this happens.
Instead, by 2025, Sony has forecast that most of its profits for games will come via PlayStation 5, with titles for PC and mobile also bringing in the other half of its revenue.
Overall, this surely shouldn't come as a surprise considering that the PS5 will be Sony's main goal in the years to future. But it's important to remember that, at the moment, that the PS4 is a device that Sony is still producing and releasing games on. In fact, this year's most popular PlayStation title, God of War Ragnarok, is still expected to launch on PS4 at the time it launches.
At some point in the next few years, Sony will likely end by making a larger announcement related to the PS4 and the official conclusion of its life. We've been told about this announcement, however, it will likely be announced prior to 2025 So, be sure to prepare accordingly.
