Diablo 4 remains one of the most controversial game releases of 2022. Blizzard's over-the-top monetization of  Diablo 4 Items their mobile ARPG earned it huge amounts of interest when it first came out. The attention has declined in the past, Blizzard has made no declaration that it intends to change Diablo 4's monetization moving forward. With this in mind, the announcement of Diablo 4's Season Two has confirmed the return of its battle pass as well as two premium upgrade options.

Similar to many free-to play games and some premium games, Diablo 4 features a monetized battle pass system. Game players are required to complete tasks to advance throughout the fight pass and get rewarded with various materials and additional content available in the game. The main battle pass track is totally free, meaning Diablo 4 gamer are paid regardless of whether they pay for anything. However, there are two premium options to the battle pass that can lead to much higher rewards.

The first stage of the Diablo 4 battle pass is known as"the Empowered Battle Pass. This Empowered Battle Pass costs $4.99 each season and provides buyers higher rewards with each level that they earn. The rewards for the Season Two Empowered Battle Pass are confirmed to include the Bloodsworn Weapon cosmetic at rank one, and Thorn-covering Bloodsworn Armor cosmetic at rank 40. Additional rewards like Scoria  Diablo 4 Boosting currency, gems, and emoji will be distributed throughout the rest of the battle pass.
