It's that time of year again, when the Milwaukee Bucks are snubbed in the latest installment of the best-selling nba 2k22 myteam mt series, which features the team's logo on the court. The team's ratings have been a hot topic of discussion among fans, particularly with regard to the team's trio, who are receiving relatively low ratings for a group that has just won the championship. As is customary following the release of a game, controversy will inevitably ensue. However, even if a player receives a rating that is too low, the beauty of it is that they will have the opportunity to raise it as the new season progresses.

Players who will almost certainly improve their NBA 2K22 rating

After examining the individual ratings for the 2021-22 Bucks, it becomes clear that there are several players who have the potential to significantly improve their rating. Three Bucks will see their ratings rise in the coming months, for a variety of reasons including their role, fit, circumstance, or simply because they are currently rated too low. It is a little surprising to see that Rodney Hood is the 12th ranked player on the Milwaukee Bucks mt coins, with the only players with a lower rating being the trio of Thanasis Antetokounmpo, Elijah Bryant, and Mamadi Diakite, who are all on the same team. Hood has a 72 overall rating after having his least productive season of his career in 2020-21. His rating is likely to rise if he finds a rhythm with the Bucks, which is a distinct possibility.

First and foremost, Hood's health must be in good condition in order for him to improve his rating. Over the course of the past two seasons, he has been plagued by a severe case of the injury bug, which has severely limited his availability and negatively impacted his production. It will be all about working his way back into form and demonstrating that he can still be a productive scorer in this league this season, after essentially signing a one-year "prove it" deal with Milwaukee during the summer offseason. After all, he has averaged double figures in five of his seven NBA seasons, with the exceptions of last season and his rookie campaign, and he has played in the league since 2002.

The Bucks have a lot to gain from this move, as if Hood can get back to his previous level of play, he will provide a significant boost to their second unit scoring, which has suffered since the departure of Bryn Forbes. Hood has struggled with Achilles, hand, and hip injuries over the past two seasons, but there is no reason why he cannot be a double-digit scorer off the bench in 2021-22 if he can find some consistency in the lineup. If this comes to fruition, Hood's 72 rating will almost certainly increase significantly very quickly.

When it came to NBA 2K, Bobby Portis, also known as "The People's Champ" around Milwaukee, did not receive the same amount of love as he did from the Bucks' fanbase. The big man received an overall rating of 79, which is the exact same rating he received in the previous installment of the game, as well. He expressed his dissatisfaction with the decision on Twitter, claiming that there was no reason for him not to improve, and he has a point after having an outstanding season with the Bucks.

Despite his age, the six-year veteran is coming off what was arguably his most impactful season, in which he played a pivotal role for the Milwaukee Bucks as a reserve. The team was able to re-sign him in free agency on a deal that was favorable to the organization, and he will return to the team and reclaim his spot in the rotation next season. While replicating his career-best efficiency from 2020-21 will be a difficult task for Portis to accomplish next season, the big man is poised to have another successful season with the Milwaukee Bucks. He should be able to carry over his scoring, rebounding, hustle, and energizing presence from last season to this one. He is 26 years old.

This could help him gain traction in the Sixth Man of the Year competition next season, an award for which he received only a passing mention last year, if this is the case. If Portis can establish himself as a regular participant in that discussion as the season progresses, his NBA 2K rating will almost certainly rise. For the time being, he is considered to be one of several Bucks who are underappreciated by the video game.
