Timo Werner's card has been downgraded from an 85 to an 84 rating. This seems a little unfair to me. Chelsea's Champions League-winning season was highlighted by Werner's numerous assists, despite the fact that he did not score any goals himself. However, EA has determined that he is eligible for a downgrade, and as a result, his shooting and dribbling are both reduced by four points and two points, respectively. He's still extremely quick, though, so you'll almost certainly see him in Weekend League games. Several different FIFA 22 cards have now been released, including the top 100 highest-rated cards, which contain a couple of Premier League strikers. There are still a few strikers missing from this list (Wolves' Jimenez, for example, does not have a confirmed card yet), but this list comes pretty close to representing the complete release package of Premier League strikers.

Other players, such as Callum Wilson, Michail Antonio, Danny Ings, and Dominic-Calvert Lewin, have not yet been confirmed to play in the tournament. We will update this list as soon as their ratings are received in order to provide a more accurate representation of the best Premier League strikers in the game. So far, here are the top ten. Patrick Bamford's FIFA 22 card receives a significant boost, as he makes it into the Golds for the first time with a 78 rated card. This represents a significant increase of 7 rating points over FIFA 21. It makes sense because he had a fantastic season with Leeds and was one of the top goal scorers in the Premier League. As a result, his shooting percentage increases by nearly 10 points, from 69 to 78.

Gabriel Jesus' card was a surprise hit in FIFA 21. He saw a lot of action during the early stages of the game's life cycle and was widely regarded as a fairly broken card at the time. His FIFA 22 FUT card appears to be of similar quality. He receives one fewer point for his speed and dribbling, but he receives one more point for his shooting. Still a fantastic (and (relatively) affordable Premier League striker for your Premier League squad. Another downgrade is on the way: Firmino drops two spots, from 87 to 85. He didn't play many minutes for Liverpool last season, largely as a result of the impactful performances of one Diogo Jota, who frequently filled Firmino's role alongside Salah and Mane. His card is only marginally worse than last year's, with a point deducted for dribbling, two points deducted for passing, and two points deducted for shooting. Firmino finished the previous game with a stunning 99-rated card, but his base gold wasn't particularly useful due to the slow 77 pace.

Auba also loses two points, going from 87 to 85. Arsenal hasn't been having the best of seasons in the Premier League, and this is reflected in Aubameyang's demotion. Arsenal's attacking midfielder sees his pace decrease by four points, from 93 to 89, as well as his shooting and dribbling abilities decline.

Cavani's place in the Manchester United starting 11 may have been overshadowed by the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo, but there's no denying that the Uruguayan made an impact for the club last season. He saw last-minute goals everywhere he looked. As a result, Cavani's rating in FIFA 22 actually rises by one point. He's much, much slower (down to 66 miles per hour), but his shooting and physicality have improved.

Vardy retains his 86 rating, but his speed has dropped from 88 to 85, making this somewhat usable card from FIFA 21 a little less useful in FIFA 22. Vardy is still a productive player for Leicester, and he is likely to receive numerous upgrades throughout the season, all the way up to something like his 94-rated TOTS card from 21. This season, he'll be critical to Leicester City's push for a place in the Champions League.

Lukaku surpasses his FIFA 19 87 rated card for the first time, achieving an 88 rating for the first time. His signing for Chelsea was a significant boost to the club's chances of winning the Premier League this season, as well as a second consecutive run in the Champions League after winning the competition last season. The Belgian striker's speed has been increased to 84 from 81, and he has received a whopping four bonus points in shooting. While his dribbling is below average for a forward, who knows how the meta will shake out in FIFA 22. It's possible that Lukaku will find a home in this league.

As a result of Manchester United's signing of Cristiano Ronaldo, Harry Kane has dropped to second place among Premier League strikers. After winning the Golden Boot last season, Harry Kane receives a rating point boost from 88 to 90, which comes with a slight increase in pace as well as some additional dribbling and passing. Is the card going to be more meta in FIFA 22? Although 70 pace is faster than 68, it is still quite slow for a forward in a game that is heavily reliant on quick players. Time will tell whether or not this is the case. Kane is also the highest-rated English player in the game, which he has held for some time. After a disappointing season with Juventus, Cristiano Ronaldo's rating has dropped to 91, placing him third behind Messi and Lewandowski. However, he now represents Manchester United, which makes linking his broken FIFA card in FIFA 22 much simpler.

We expect Fernandes and Ronaldo to appear in a large number of Weekend League teams. Of course, you'll have to shell out hundreds of thousands of coins for both players, so that might be a while off. Is Cristiano Ronaldo a good fit for the best starting eleven this season?
