World of Warcraft is an expression of the love of the team

WoW Director Changes To Mysterious New Project Inside Blizzard

World of Warcraft 's game director, Tom Chilton, is no longer involved in the lengthy-running PC MMO. In an article on his blog, Chilton announced that he's transitioning to an "new adventure" within Blizzard.

Chilton was involved in World of Warcraft from the beginning. He was the an associate game designer in the year 2004 before being promoted later to director of games.

Chilton's role for game direction will be Ion Hazzikostas, who is a Blizzard veteran. "I believe I'm confident that WoW is in good hands with Ion in charge," Chilton said. "He's been a vital part of WoW for more than eight years and been a part of so various aspects that the game's evolution, from the design of encounters to class design, and everything between."

Chilton added that future content for World of Warcraft "continues to be bright" and said he's eager to experience new content as a player.

" World of Warcraft is an expression of the love of the team as well as the players in general So I'd like to say thank you to all one of you on the incredible journey working on with the WoW Development Team has brought," he said.

cheap WOW WoTLK Classic Gold newest expansion, Legion, came out in August at the end of the month. This expansion was sold 3.3 million copies within the first 24 hours of its release which is a record that was established by previous expansions, including the 2010 expansion Cataclysm.
