Nex was teased back in December with the trailer, which stated: "The prophecy foretold of an ancient warriorwho is locked in a prison deep beneath Trollheim. A force so powerful, so malevolent, four opposing armies unified to stop its wickedness. They called her The Fifth General. It's said she hordes artefacts of incredible power, and the enchanted seal is the only thing that separates the brave from the evil wrath."
The day of today (January 5) Nex is unleashed on Old School Runescape after 90 percent of the community has endorsed the update. The players can join together in clans that range from to 80 players to fight the boss. As per the official announcement, Nex is also able to be alone on private instances. Instances can be obtained by completing The Hard Combat Achievements tier, then you can buy an account to get 100,000 GP per entry. The higher Combat Achievement tiers lower this cost.
Amid Nex, which is located in the Ancient Prison beneath the God Wars Dungeon, Nex can only be accessed after those who have played the game have completed the Desert Treasure quest and a mini-quest to unlock an access point called the Frozen Door. The access point that is iced up has existed since the Dungeon was established, but not been opened, up to now! When inside the Prison it is up to the players to crush through an enormous army (featuring Spiritual Warriors, Mages, Rangers, and Blood Reavers) before reaching Nex herself.
Fighting off Nex can bag players valuable rewards like the Ancient Godsword, Zaryte crossbow as well as the legendary Torva armour set Buy RuneScape Gold, and more. Every player who takes part in the game has a chance of obtaining a unique item as well as the best players receiving more rewards.c
