Why is "The Conversion" Movie Not Released?

The Conversion is a low-budget film, expected to be made on a Rs 2-2.5 crores budget; however, the official production cost hasn’t been announced by the makers yet.. The film was originally set to release in October 2021, but the launch date was postponed because of the sensitive topic the movie touches on. After a long battle with the censor board, the film got its certification on the 7th of March, and the makers have decided to release the film on the 6th of May.
