Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
Open the printer cover and remove any visible paper jams: Carefully remove any jammed paper from the printer by gently pulling it in the direction of the paper path. Make sure to remove any torn pieces of paper as well.
Check the paper path: Look inside the printer and check for any paper pieces or debris that may be obstructing the paper path. Use a soft, lint-free cloth to remove any debris.
Fan the paper: Fan out the paper stack and make sure the edges are aligned. This will prevent the paper from getting stuck in the printer.
