Both MyCareer (and MyTeam) use Virtual Currency (VC), to increase their levels. The players can take advantage of their top centre build to earn wins, finish quests, and meet annual goals in Virtual Currency and NBA 2K22 MT then spend it on MyTeam.
You can use one of them to feed the other. A player who has no upgrades at all that does not even get the job can still net some thousand VC coins in just an hour. After the initial few days of MyCareer game play, you can buy the most expensive MyTeam pack.
